HIGH SCHOOL: Was a member of the tennis and cross country team in high school. He was was the Student Assistant Coach for the high schools basketball program. Eric remained active in basektball in high school while participating and winning some tournaments like the NBH Summer 2008 Varsity Division Champions, and playing for the Daly City Parks & Recreation Showcase Basketball League. Eric did over 300 hours of community work and volunteered at an orphanage in South-America, Peru
2010-2011: Was not a rostered player. He volunteered as an Assistant Coach for a junior basketball summer camp at UCSC.
2011-2012: Played in six games last year. Scored a career high of 6 points against American Sports University in the 3rd place game of the Whittier Tournament. Shot 50% from the field for the season and was 2 for 3 from behind the arc.
PERSONAL: Raised by his mother, Eva Charles in the City. Eric is bilingual (spanish-english) and works at the UCSC gym. He was recently recognized by the Chancellor, George Blumenthal, for saving the life of a man who has a stroke/heart attack while at UCSC.
