HIGH SCHOOL: 3-year Varsity Squad member at Los Alamitos High School. Held 200 IM JV conference meet record, won Scholar-Athlete for 2 years. Swam for Golden West Swim Club.

PERSONAL:  Picked UCSC for the academics, campus, and the people here. I felt this place was perfect for me and I love the swim team and the atmosphere they create. Most influential person in his life are his parents Silvia and Freddy because "they have shown me with hard work anything is possible."
Has a sister Deborah and out of the pool enjoys playing video games.
