HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Gymnasium Essen-Werden in Germany. 2nd place in Federal Youth Final (2019), Top 10 in State Competition (2020), 3rd place in State Team Competition (2021). Top in Class Award in Chemistry.
First European UCSC golf recruit since 2005 (Maria Daleke).

PERSONAL: Daughter of Christiane Ruehl and Thomas Meurer. Has a sister Victoria. Picked UCSC because "it has a really good athletic and academic program where I think I will be able to develop best. Furthermore, the campus is unique and has a beautiful location." 
Hobbies/ include Fitness (weightlifting, CrossFit and running), playing the piano.
