Biography

AT UCSC:  Enters senior year having started last 70 games. Was named All-Independents First Team in 2014-15 after leading team in scoring for second-straight year with 13.8 PPG in playing a average of 31 minutes/game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter and four-time All Sierra League mention.  First team All League as a senior.  Two-time team captain.  Helped lead the team to the CIF SS playoffs all four seasons.  Graduated on Ayala’s top five lists for steals (3rd), assists (3rd) and points (5th).  Named top Male Scholar Athlete at Ayala and named the top Scholar Athlete for the San Gabriel Valley.

PERSONAL:  His parents are Denise and Michael Ponce.  He is one of three triplets who've played for the Slugs.  He has a sister, Courtney and a brothers, Matthew and Tyler.
