AT UCSC: Played in four matches his freshman year in 2020.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
MVP Junior year and Scholar Athlete Award all 4 years at Royal High School.
Played Club for SMBC West. Ranked 5th in USA division at USAV Junior Nationals in 2018.
 
PERSONAL: 
Parents are Jennifer and Michael Soper. Siblings are Amanda, Colin, and Ben. Most influential person is his dad because "he raised me to the personality I am today. And this gives me a better mindset to view life with."
Picked UCSC for the chance to study science, be in an unfamiliar place and in a beautiful location all at the same time. 
Personal interests include reading books on History, hiking through the woods, and stargazing at night.
