TURLOCK, Calif. - The UC Santa Cruz women's cross country team placed 4th out of 7 teams at the Kim Duyst Twilight XC Invitational hosted by Stanislaus State at River Oaks Golf Course, finishing with a team total time of 1:56:50 and a team score of 121. The Banana Slugs ran as a strong pack, placing four runners in the top 40 with the whole squad finishing inside the top 60. UC Santa Cruz will be back in action on Sept. 19 when they travel to UC Riverside.
