How It Happened
The Sagehens and Banana Slugs went back and forth in the first half with UCSC pressing through the midfield early in the contest. Pomona-Pitzer managed to take five shots in the first half while holding UCSC to just two shots in the opening 45 minutes but neither team was able to find the net, going into halftime 0-0.
