SANTA CRUZ, Ca. – On Wednesday morning, the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2024-25 women's basketball awards. Emily Ngo headlined the honors after being named the 2024-25 C2C Rookie of the Year. In addition to the ROTY honors, Ngo joined
Jenna Gorton in earning Second Team All-Conference accolades.
Emilie Ngo earns the Rookie of the Year honors after averaging 11.1 points per game, 4.0 assists per game, 3.7 rebounds per game, and 1.8 steals per game. Ngo ranks second in the C2C in field goal percentage with 48.4%. Ngo was the standout perform for UC Santa Cruz on both ends of the court, leading the team with 244 points on the season while grabbing 82 boards, 64 of which were defensive, ranking fourth on the team. Ngo led the team in steals with 40 overall and dished out 87 assists which ties for eighth all-time in a single season at UC Santa Cruz.
Jenna Gorton also earned Second Team All-Conference honors after turning averaging 9.5 points per game with 199 on the season. Gorton was the team leader in rebounds with 166, averaging 7.9 a contest. Gorton shot .431 from the field while dishing out 30 assists and managed to record 21 blocks and 19 steals on the year.
