FOREST GROVE, OR -- No. 37 UC Santa Cruz made it two-for-two after a hard-fought 5-4 dual win at Pacific University.
The Banana Slugs improved to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the Spring.

"I focused on controlling my game and playing smart. I knew what I had to do & that I was perfectly able to do it," Van Houten said. "I'm so proud of my whole team today for battling and supporting each other the whole way through singles and doubles," she explained after the match.
UC Santa Cruz has three weeks until their next matches, when they host Menlo and American River in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 9th at the Rachel Carson College courts.
