Box Score NEWBERG, OR-- UC Santa Cruz won their second dual in a row with a 6-3 comeback win over George Fox on Friday.
The Banana Slugs started in an 0-3 hole after losing all three doubles matches, but were dominant in the singles matches.
"Today's match went really great, everyone came out with a different attitude to sweep in singles," said
Meghana Damojipurapu. "We were down 0-3 after doubles and every single person went out there with their heads up. Ross and Linda did a great job coaching all the girls to a victory!"

Natalie Sprenger and Damojipurapu tied the match quickly as they each won without dropping a set.
Melody Ghaffari gave the Banana Slugs the lead after a 7-6, 6-1 win before
Sweden Van Houten clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
Chloe Wu continued her amazing debut season and finished the dual with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 win.
"Today's match was really good," Van Houten said. "For me, it was a lot about keeping my head clear and focusing on my own tennis, especially after waiting for my match and watching everyone else play. Overall, I'm super proud of everyone and what we accomplished today!"
The Banana Slugs finish the weekend trip Sunday at noon against Pacific University.
