Four Banana Slugs had double-digit kills against the Bruins, led by Drew Bryant with 12. Libero Emily Pasion had 20 digs in both matches. First Year setters Sydney May and Alessandra Ponzo had 30 and 22 assists respectively against George Fox, with May earning a double-double and adding 13 digs.
"Speaking as a hitter, they're doing great," said Tazelaar who finished with 10 kills . "It's a lot of pressure to step out there as some of the youngest players on the team, and I'm so proud of them."
