Four Golfers named to American Southwest Academic All-Conference team

RICHARDSON, TEXAS - Four UC Santa Cruz golfers were named Academic All-Conference as announced by the American Southwest Conference on Wednesday.
It is the third year in a row that a majority of the UC Santa Cruz squad earned Academic All-Conference.
Gillian Mendoza, Mikaela Paracuelles and Alyssa Yee repeated from last year's team, while it was the first Academic All-Conference nod for Tani Ng. The four golfers made it 193 total Banana Slugs over 14 sports who earned Academic All-Conference honors in the 2022-23 school year. That represents over 76% of UC Santa Cruz's eligible student-athletes.
