CLAREMONT--   Hari Raghavan finished the weekend undefeated in singles as men's tennis finished up at the 2023 ITA West Regional.

Three Banana Slugs made finals matches on Sunday. Raghavan won flight three's final 6-2, 6-2 over teammate Ryan Lam. Lam advanced with a 6-3, 7-6 semifinal win over Redlands's Alex Losani, while Raghavan beat Chapman's Mac Caldwell 6-3, 4-6, 10-6.
Adam Hidas won his flight 2 consolation semifinal 6-3, 6-2 against Marlon Abarca of Redlands before rain stopped the final match.

"It's always tough to play these individual tournaments with so many matches," said head coach Ross Pytko. "Our team showed a lot of competitive spirit to stick it out over the entire weekend. I'm very proud of how smart Hari played to take the win in the Flight 3 Main Draw. That's an impressive achievement for a first-year student."

The Banana Slugs finish the Fall season with a trip to Oregon next weekend.
