UC Santa Cruz closed their regular season hosting Division I UC Davis, Friday at the East Tennis Complex.
The Banana Slugs celebrated Senior Day for Ines Pelvang, the team's captain for the past two years.

The Aggies swept all three doubles matches . UC Santa Cruz's Number One pair of Natalie Sprenger and Sara Beckman put on an entertaining match with several rallies, including an amazing dropshot by Beckman at the net.
The Banana Slugs then played the Aggies tough in six singles matches, plus an extra seventh match where Santa Cruz's Jolie Seemayer faced the Aggies' Lauren Ko.

Due to impending rain this weekend, Saturday's dual against Stanislaus State was canceled. The Banana Slugs will next compete in May when they fly to the Coast-To-Coast Conference championships.
