OAKLAND- A week after the ITAs, UC Santa Cruz continued their tough Fall schedule with a 5-2 dual win over Division II neighbor Holy Names in Oakland.
Holy Names took the doubles point after sweeping the three matches. However, the Banana Slugs bounced back with five wins in the six singles matches.
"The team fought well," said head coach James Soper. "I'm proud of their performance today. Holy Names is strong with a lot of international students, so we never know what we'll be up against.
"This was a great way to end our fall season, and I look forward to more competition starting in January."
