SANTA CRUZ (2-5) – The Banana Slugs played their first home match of season as they took on fellow NCAA Division III member George Fox University. The Banana Slugs won five individual singles matches as the Banana Slugs won 7-2.  

In their last match, the Banana Slugs defeated NAIA opponent Westmont College 7-2 in San Luis Obispo. George Fox finished their 2015 season with a 14-8 record which finished in the Northwest Conference Men's Tennis Championship semifinals with a 5-3 loss to Pacific University.

The Banana Slugs won five singles matches while the Bruins won one. In the #2 singles match between Chad Le Duff of UC Santa Cruz and Chris Lilley of UC Santa Cruz, Le Duff defeated Lilley 7-5, 6-1. In the #3 singles match, Kyle Richter of the Banana Slugs defeated Nicholas Grafton of the Bruins 6-2, 6-4. In the #5 singles match, Derek Levchenko of UC Santa Cruz defeated Nick Ekern of George Fox 6-2, 6-1. In the #6 singles match, Ryan Dugan of the Banana Slugs defeated Mitchell Miyashiro of the Bruins 6-2, 6-1. In the #4 singles match, Vincent Viloria of the Bruins defeated Alexander Flora of the Banana Slugs 6-4, 6-3.  The tightest singles match of the day was the #1 singles match between Chadwick Stone of UC Santa Cruz and Spencer Watanbe of George Fox. Stone defeated Watanabe 6-2, 2-6, 1-0.

The Banana Slugs won two doubles matches and the Bruins won one. In the #2 doubles match, the Banana Slugs' team of Levchenko and Stone defeated the Bruins' team of Grafton and Viloria 8-4. In the #3 doubles match, the team of Dukan and Flora of UC Santa Cruz defeated the team of Lerma and Miyashiro of George Fox 8-0. The tightest doubles match was the #1 doubles match between Richter and Adrian Sirovica of UC Santa Cruz and Lilly and Watanabe of George Fox. Lilley and Watanabe defeated Richter and Sirovica 8-6.
