Slugs fall in season opener at Cal Lutheran

The UCSC Women's soccer team opened their three-game SoCal road trip with a 3-0 loss at Cal Lutheran.The hosts did all their scoring in the first half before UCSC settled down and made the game entertaining in the second half.
Taylor Keenan had the Banana Slugs' best chance with a little over 3 minute left but her shot hit the post.
Goalkeeper Selina Davila Oliver had 6 saves in the game. Athena Del Rosario made her UCSC debut, adding a pair of asves.
The Banana Slugs (0-1-0) continues their play Whittier tomorrow night.
