UCSC closes so. Calif. trip with loss to Chapman

ORANGE- One day after a tough loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, the women's soccer team lost to old rival Chapman 2-0.
UCSC (3-7-3) allowed a goal in each half. Chapman improved to 5-8 and avenged last year's 3-1 UCSC victory.
UCSC was outshot 18-6 and conceded 8 corner kicks while attempting four of their own.
Selina Davila Olivera tied her career-high with nine saves, before Athena del Rosario came in for relief and finished with another four saves.
The Banana Slugs next play their third Div. II opponent of the year when they visit Stanislaus State on Saturday evening.
