Brecht's double-double can't propel Women's Basketball past Holy Names

OAKLAND, CA -- The UCSC Women's Basketball team suffered its third loss in four games on Tuesday, losing at Holy Names College, 59-74.
The Slugs suffered from a horrid-shooting first half as they hit on just 7-of-28 shots.
Sophomore Center Amanda Brecht had arguably her best game of the season, scoring 18 points with 11 rebounds and 1 block.
Junior Guard Marcie Haduca came off the bench to score 15 points, shooting 3-of-5 from downtown.
Four Holy Names' Hawks scored in double digits.
The team's next game comes this Friday night at home against Dominican College. Game time is set for 7:30 PM.
