Sea Lions open BAIC Play with big win over SJ Bible College

SAN JOSE- The UCSC Sea Lions men's basketball team snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 102-80 victory over San Jose Bible College.
The victory came in the Bay Area Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener for both schools. UCSC is defending conference champion and raised its overall record to 2-11.
John Saintignon of UCSC led all scorers with 30 points, while teammate Julius Patterson added 23. Kevin Hawkins and Tom Buffett each had 11 for the Sea Lions.
The Sea Lions shot a season-high 46-80 accuracy while pulling down a season-high 52 rebounds, led by Buffett with 10.
