Trevor Jackson

Trevor Jackson joins the UC Santa Cruz Men's Volleyball coaching staff in 2025, returning to his alma mater where he competed as four-year member of the Banana Slugs program. As a middle blocker from 2019-2023, Jackson helped lead UCSC to consistent top-10 AVCA national rankings and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2023. He finished his career ranked sixth in school history in hitting percentage (.330), received multiple NCAA Scholar Athlete awards, and served as team captain in his senior season.

Since graduating, Jackson has built his coaching experience at both the club and youth levels. He led the West Edge 18's Club team to a top-8 finish at the 2024 BJNC, and most recently coached various camps and clinics at A'o A Koa Volleyball Club in Honolulu, serving as a pipeline to the University of Hawai'i volleyball programs. Jackson is currently serving as Head Coach for Youth Boys 14's at MVVC in Mountain View.

In addition to his coaching career, Jackson holds a B.S. in Geophysics from UC Santa Cruz and has worked professionally in geoscience and environmental fields. He is thrilled to bring his experience and passion back to UCSC, helping the program continue its tradition of excellence both on and off the court.
