Jackson McClain joined the UC Santa Cruz athletic training staff in the summer of 2026. He graduated from San Diego State University with his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Fitness Specialist in 2023 and with his master's degree in Athletic Training in 2025. While in graduate school, McClain obtained his clinical hours at Grossmont College, Pro To Col Sport Systems, and UC San Diego. Before joining UC Santa Cruz, McClain worked as a certified athletic trainer at El Camino High School in Oceanside, CA.
