HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:Â Swam for Dougherty Valley High School. NCS Qualifier, high point at VSA league, and two-year team captain.
National Honors Society for 2 years, part of Interact for 4 years. Also swam for the San Ramon Aquacats.
PERSONAL:Â Â Parents are Ada Ip and Chung Ma. Has a brother Ethan who she says is the most influential person in her life. "I always want him to approve of what I do, not sure if it is because I look up to him, or because I know that he always makes good decisions, but he is a person in my life that I deem to be very important." She picked UCSC because "when I first visited the campus, I fell in love with it. I love how the campus is basically the forest, and how close it is to the ocean. I visited a few of my brother's classes, and I thought everyone was very kind." Enjoys hanging out with friends, going to watch movies, having picnics, and playing volleyball.

- Made Banana Slug debut at the 2022 Slug Invite, swimming leadoff (backstroke) on 400 medley relay and placing 7th in 100 backstroke in 1:01.85.
