AT UCSC: At the 2019 PCSC Championships placed third in the 100IM in a school-record time of 53.37. Sowa also swam leadoff as the 400 Free Relay team placed third in 3:11.43.

Was 7th at 2020 PCSC in 100 Fly (52.89) and 14th in 100 Free (48.46). Was 4th in 100 Fly at 2020 Chris Knorr Invite in Thousand Oaks with time of 54.35.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Swam for Redwood HS and North Bay Aquatics. For North Bay was Junior National Qualifier, 4-time all american. Coaches award junior and senior year, team captain junior and senior year of High School.

PERSONAL: Son of Thomas and Fabienne Sowa. Chose UCSC because he loved the campus and the location and his teammates because "they push me in and out of the pool."
