HIGH SCHOOL: NCS/CIF qualifier for Arcata High School in Humboldt County. Was awarded MVP junior year, Top 10% in class, National Honors Society, awarded the George Eastman Young Leaders award.Â
Team record holder for Humboldt Swim Club in multiple events.Â
PERSONAL: Parents of Ivy and Darrin Breen, who are the most influential people in her life because "they are funny and have taught me everything I know." Chose UC Santa Cruz for "the nature and beauty of Santa Cruz, and how close it was to the ocean. My mom also attended UCSC." Enjoys surfing, reading, and art.
- 2023-24:
- At her college debut at the 2023 Slug Invite, placed 11th in the 100-yard Breaststroke (1:12.70), 12th in the 400-yard Individual Medley (4:58.25), 16th in the 50-yard Breaststroke (35.05) and 13th in the 200-Yard Breaststroke (2:37.16).Â
- At the 2024 PCSC Championships, placed 16th in the 400-Yard IMÂ in 4:49.10. She also placed 16th in the 100-Yard Breaststroke (1:10.47), and was 21st in the 200-Yard Fly (2:16.07).Â
