PERSONAL: Parents are Michael and Miho. Brother is Jason. Says his father has been most influential because "he's taught me that your mindset is the strongest thing limiting you from doing what you want."

Chose UCSC because "I believe that the school has the right mindset and capabilites needed in helping me reach my goals." Hobbies include sailing, riding my motorcycle, and coaching young sailors.
