PERSONAL: Parents are Brian and Jeanne. Says his grandfather is the most influential person in his life because "he has provided me with multiple lessons that I continue to carry with me."
He chose to attend UCSC because "this school allowed me the opportunity to pursue my lifelong swimming passion while furthering my academic goals in a beautiful environment."
Outside of school and swimming, Ioves surfing, cooking, frisbee, spikeball, hiking, and just about anything that involves being active in nature.
- 2023-24
- At the 2024 PCSC Championships, swam the breaststroke leg of the school-record 200 medley relay that finished 4th.
- At the 2024 PCSC Championships was also 12th in 100 back and 11th in 200 back.Â
- 2022-23:
- Made UCSC debut at 2022 Slug Invite and placed 13th in 50 yard breaststroke (29.04), 14th in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.53), and 13th in 200 individual medley (2:04.68).
- Was 11th in 100 Back and 7th in 200 Back at 2023 PCSC Championships.Â
