HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated with Summa Cum Laude from Santa Teresa High School. Futures Qualifier, CCS Finalist. Swam for Santa Clara Swim Club.
PERSONAL: Chose UC Santa Cruz because "I love the campus and the swim team environment!" Most influential person in life is "my Dad because he always encourages me to go out of my comfort zone, which led me to get over my fear of swimming."

- Debuted at 2023 Slug Invite hosted by UC Santa Cruz, where Nguyen placed 4th in 100 breaststroke in 1:10.46, 5th in 50 breaststroke (32.46), and 7th in 200 breaststroke (2:33.12).
- At 2024 PCSC Championships, swam third leg of 200 medley relay that placed 6th, was 19th in 200 individual medley (2:12.42), 6th in 100 breaststrokes (1:06.79), and 12th in 200 breaststroke (2:27.05).
