PERSONAL:Â Parents are Renee Mercier and Jeff Norenberg. Says her younger sister Sophia is the most influential person in her life because "she teaches me to be myself everyday."
She picked UCSC because "I was looking for a change in pace from New Mexico and I loved the campus and proximity to the beach." Out of the pool she loves listening to music, making art, and "I really love lemonade and hot sauce."
- 2023-24:
- Was leadoff in three school-record relays at 2024 PCSC Championships, placing first in 200 and 800 free and 4th in 400 free relay that qualified for NCAA Championships.
- Placed 7th in 50 Free after being third-ever Banana Slug to swim under 24.00 in preliminaries (23.93). Was also 3rd in 100 free (51.67), and 10th in 100 back (57.89).
- Helped UC Santa Cruz place third at 2023 PCSC meet in 200 Free Relay in a then-record time of 1:36.54. Also placed 11th in 100 Free and placed fifth as part of the 200 Medley Relay in 1:48.04.

- Made college debut at 2022 Slug Invite placing 3rd in 50 free (24.76) and 2nd in 100 back (59.66).Â
