Trevis Jackson

Former professional player Trevis Jackson joined UC Santa Cruz as an assistant coach in August 2023.
Prior to UC Santa Cruz, coach Jackson played four years in the Philippines Basketball Association, after he was a 2017 First Round PBA Draft pick

"We are excited to have Trevis Jackson join the UC Santa Cruz Men's Basketball program. Trevis's experience as a player and a leader will help our guys develop on a daily basis. His competitiveness will fit right in with what we are building," said Head Coach Matt Malone. "Throughout his playing career, Trevis has earned the respect of his teammates and coaches and we are looking to forward to him building relationships with our student-athletes and recruits here at UC Santa Cruz."

Originally from Southern California, coach Jackson played four years at Division I Sacramento State from 2014-2017 and graduated with a degree in Communication Studies. He was team captain his senior year and at one point played in 63 consecutive games for the Hornets, leading the team in +/-.
