Community Perks

At UCSC Community Boating Center, being apart of our community is about more than just boats. We offer opportunities for learning, racing, and connecting with fellow sailors. Everyone is welcome to join!
Santa Cruz Women Sailing

Santa Cruz Women’s Sailing (SCWS) is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive space for women to get involved in sailing. We encourage women’s participation on the water, build strong connections and camaraderie among female sailors, offer educational opportunities to grow skills and confidence, and actively engage in sailing-related community outreach.

UCSC Sailing Team
Take your sailing to the next level! Our Sailing Team is for UCSC students and run by UCSC students who are passionate about sailing, competition, and teamwork.
Team members participate in training sessions, practice races, and local regattas, building skills, confidence, and friendships on the water.

Regattas & Races

Exciting events for sailors of all levels! Join us for friendly competition on the water, connect with fellow boating enthusiasts, and celebrate the joy of sailing.
Our events are open to members and non-members alike. Regattas are held on the last Saturday of every month, followed by a potluck and prizes. Don’t miss the fun, camaraderie, and thrill of the race!
