UC Santa Cruz Success:
  • 2023-24:
    • Was 13th in both 500 free (6:21.41) and 100 breaststroke (1:22.08) at 2024 dual with Cal State East Bay and Simon Fraser.
  • 2022-21:
    • Placed 16th in 50 breaststroke (36.24) and 32nd in 100 free (1:02.59) at 2022 Slug Invite. 
HIGH SCHOOL: Swam at Anacortes High School. Placed 8th in the 500 at Washington 2A Girls Swim and Dive State Championships her Junior Year, helping her team place 3rd at the State Championships in 2019. Was member of Honors Society. NCIS top 16 award. Swam for the Thunderbird Aquatic Club.

PERSONAL: She picked UCSC because she wanted a school with a marine biology and biochemistry program as well as a swim team. She also "wanted to be close enough to home, and the campus is beautiful."
Daughter of Terra Johnson and  Christopher Sparks. Brother-Nicholas , sister-Shaughnessy.
Calls her parents the most influential people in her life because "they have taught me how to follow my passions without fear."
Hobbies include reading, plants, and scuba diving.
