1-2 FG and 4-4 from the line in six games played. Three assists. Scored first college basket on December 17th at La Verne, along with first rebound.
HIGH SCHOOL: All-League MVP, First Team All-League at San Jacinto High School. Led the league in assists and steals.
Riverside County Sheriffs Department All-Star Game nominee. Finalist forÂ
John Chambers Award (taking into account leadership, team impact, and stats for players in San Jacinto and Hemet). AVID Student of the Year, 4.5 GPA for High School.
PERSONAL: Parents are Marie Roberson and Ron Brookes. Brothers are Isaiah and Xavier. The most influential person in his life is "my old Coach Willie Farley. His knowledge and mindset about the game helped me understand how one should approach the game of basketball."
He picked UCSC because he felt it was the best opportunity to further his basketball career, it is a great university for a higher education and felt he and Coach Malone were on the same page. Off the court, enjoys reading Poetry, playing Madden and NBA2k, and playing football.
