Biography

AT UCSC: Finished her freshman year with three PRs at 2020 PCSC Championships- 55.13 in 100 Free, 1:57.96 in 200 Free for 17th and 11:05.27 in 1000 Free to place 23rd. Won 200 Free at Chris Knorr. Won 500 Free in her home debut at Slug Shootout Oct. 25, 2019, finishing in 5:15.08.
 
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Competed for Santa Monica High school and Club for Team Santa Monica. Was USA Swimming sectional qualifier for the past 3 years, qualified for LA invite past 3 years, and chosen to go to Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for the past 5 years.
 
National Bi-literacy award (Spanish), member of the National Society of High School Scholars, honor roll all 4 years.
 
PERSONAL: Parents Names are Kalli (mother) and Joe (father); has a brother Giacomo. Picked UCSC for the academics, the swim team, the location, and the "overall environment that UCSC has is perfect for me and fits who I am as a person." Also, I felt that the place as a whole would best prepare me for the future and help me become the best person I can be socially, academically and in the sport of swimming.
 
Most influential persons are parents and her old swim coach, Nori Hammond, because "I would not be the person that I am today without their help, positive influence, and drive to see me become the version of myself."
Hobbies/Personal interests include beach, going on adventures, being outdoors, camping, swimming, listening to music, hanging out with friends and family (including my 2 dogs), watching movies, and eating.
