2019 Fall ACAA All-Academic
AT UCSC:
2019: Played in 12 games with 3 starts. Scored 5 goals and 3 assists on the season. Scored first career goal to open scoring Sept. 8 against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
2018: Saw action in two games off the bench as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL Floyd attended C.K. McClatchy High School, where she was a member of the National Honors Society and also competed in track -- she holds her high school’s record for the 100 meter dash in 12.43 seconds and is 2nd in the school’s record books for the 4x100.
While playing soccer for her high school team, Floyd scored 15 goals her senior year and received All League honors for both track and soccer.
Received academic award for high school soccer team, and athlete-scholar award for maintaining 4.0 and above throughout high school.
PERSONAL Daughter of Malcolm and Debbie Floyd. Calls her grandmother the most influential person in her life "for being the most persistent and resilient person I know." Hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, going on twitter, eating (especially Japanese food), watching SVU or The Office and painting random things like rocks and pots.
Chose UCSC when she discovered Angela Davis and Huey P. Newton both have ties to UCSC, both of whom have influenced her political and social perspective.
