
Davies Highlights Day Three of the PCSC Championships for UCSC

LOS ANGELES, Ca. – The UC Santa Cruz men's swim and dive team continued to maintain their lead on day three of the 2026 PCSC Championships, ending the night with 1391.5 points with Biola in second with 1232 points. Greyson Davies highlighted the night with the No. 3 time in the nation in the 200 fly.

- 500 Free: Massimo Reyna, Dylan Blietz, and Michael Fusinati went 6-7-8 in the 500 free, finishing the race in 4:41.24, 4:42.10, and 4:51.70. Lucas Blietz also swam well, finishing in 11th with a 4:45.64.
- 100 Back: Asher Kates led the way for UC Santa Cruz, taking fourth place with a time of 50.22 seconds. JJ Stoen and Charlie Hussain took 12th and 14th with times of 53.01 and 54.10.
- 100 Breast: PJ Fortune earned a runner up finish in the 100 breast, finishing with a program record time of 55.37 seconds. Sebastian Santiago and Jack West took sixth and seventh with times of 56.78 and 56.94.
- 200 Fly: Greyson Davies had a standout performance, dropping nearly two seconds off his prelim time to win the 200 fly in a program record time of 1:47.27. Davies' time currently stands as the third fastest time swam this season. Kent Nishida and Jude Robinson went 4-5 as the pair touched the wall in 1:50.37 and 1:51.13 with Kaleb Wolfinger taking seventh in 1:53.85.
- 200 Medley Relay: The Banana Slugs closed out the night in dominant fashion, dropping over five seconds off their seed time with Davies, Fortune, Andrew Koika, and Kyle Reitan combining for a time of 1:28.06 to win by over two seconds.
