TACOMA, Wa. - UC Santa Cruz men's soccer extended their winning streak to three games with a commanding 2–0 road victory over the Puget Sound Loggers on Friday evening at Baker Stadium in Tacoma, Washington. The Banana Slugs struck in the third minute and never looked back as
Soren Groessl and
Joaquin Greenberg's first half goals were the difference. The Banana Slugs will take on Pacific Lutheran on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. before returning to California.
How It Happened
In the early going,
Soren Groessl struck just 2 minutes and 22 seconds in, finishing off a pass from

Joaquin Greenberg, who each tested the goalkeeper or forced well-timed saves.
