The UC Santa Cruz men's tennis team continued its strong form with a commanding 7-0 victory over Schreiner University, sweeping all matches without dropping a set.

In doubles play, the Banana Slugs secured the point by taking two out of three matches. At the No. 1 position,
Andrew Tjoa and
Benjamin Wang teamed up for a 6-4 win over Adrian Munguia and Vincent Risoldi.
Arjun Tandon and
Praneet Varade clinched the No. 3 doubles match with a solid 6-3 win over Hunter Green and Jake Riggs. Although the No. 2 doubles pair of
Adam Hidas and
Rocco Melendez fell 4-6 to Daniel Beckles and Steven Scholz, UC Santa Cruz still captured the doubles point with their victories at the other two positions.
The Slugs carried that momentum into singles, where they swept all six matches.
Andrew Tjoa led the way at the top singles spot, battling through a tough three-set match to defeat Steven Scholz, 6-2, 4-6, 10-6.
Radin Sadeghi also triumphed in a tight match at No. 2 singles, coming back to defeat Adrian Munguia 6-7, 6-4, 10-6.
Mayur Nookala put together a strong showing at No. 3 singles, winning in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 over Daniel Beckles.
Benjamin Wang was dominant at the No. 4 spot, cruising past Vincent Risoldi 6-2, 6-0.
Arjun Tandon and
Praneet Varade rounded out the singles sweep, with Tandon defeating Hunter Green 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 and Varade earning a 6-2, 6-1 win over Ethan Garcia at No. 6.
