
Men's and Women's Cross Country Earn USTFCCCA All Academic Honors

SANTA CRUZ, Ca. - Â The UC Santa Cruz men's and women's cross country teams were recognized for their success in the classroom by earning All-Academic Team accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) late last week.

Under the leadership of Head Coach David Klech and Associate Head Coach Delia Mack, the Banana Slugs concluded the fall semester with a team GPA of 3.70 on the men's side and 3.73 on the women's side, earning both programs USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. The UCSC men's program boasted one of the nation's highest GPAs in Division III as their 3.70 was 14th in the country with the women's team bringing in the 32nd best GPA in Division III.

In addition to the team's success, the following student-athletes earned individual honors for their success in the classroom:
