SAINT PAUL, MN, - The UC Santa Cruz men's team rolled to a 7-0 victory over the Macalester College Highland Cows on Friday evening. The Banana slugs earned quick victories in all 6 of their singles and were uncontested in doubles. The Slugs strong start to their Minnesota road trip will continue with matches against Carleton and Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Slugs are now 2-0 on the young season.
 
How It Happened
The Slugs steamrolled through all their matches, not dropping a single set throughout. The Slugs started the day by sweeping doubles, earning 6-3, 6-2, and 6-3 victories at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 doubles, respectively.
 
In singles, No. 1 Radin Sadeghi took his match 6-4, 6-4 while Andrew Tjao took his match 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. No. 3 Hari Raghavan won 6-4, 6-2. Benjamin Wang took his match 6-2, 6-3. No. 5 Mayur Nookla won 6-1, 6-1 and lastly Arjun Tandon took his match 6-0, 6-0.
