Walters Headlines C2C Awards as Scholar-Athlete of the Year

SANTA CRUZ, Ca. – This morning, the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2025 Women's Soccer All-Conference awards and the Banana Slugs were honored with four All-C2C accolades as well as the 2025 C2C Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award.
 
Caitlin Walters headlined the honors for UC Santa Cruz as the junior was named the 2025 C2C Scholar-Athlete of the Year with a 4.0 GPA, majoring in Psychology. Walters has made nine appearances for UC Santa Cruz this season, making eight starts overall while excelling in the classroom off the field.
 
Camille Anneet and Kristi Truong both earned First Team All-Conference honors for the second straight season with Anneet picking up her third C2C All-Conference honor in her career. Anneet made her presence known on the offensive side of things, leading the Slugs with four goals on the year while adding one assist as well. Anneet started in all 14 contests for UCSC this year and was one of seven players to record over 1,000 minutes on the field. Kristi Truong earned her second straight First Team nod as UC Santa Cruz's center back, anchoring the defense all year long while adding one goal on the year. Truong rarely left the field, logging 1,218 minutes on the year which ranks second on the team.
 
Tatiana Fernandez earned Second Team All-C2C honors for the second year in a row with Sydney Boyd joining her on the Second Team ballot. Fernandez and Boyd were also two of UCSC's most utilized players with Fernandez recording 1,147 minutes while Boyd played 1,115 minutes. Tatiana Fernandez dished out one assist on the year while Sydney Boyd ranked second in points on the team with two goals and two assists, good for six points overall.
