Women's tennis sweeps Jessup on Senior Day

On Senior Day at Harbor High School, UC Santa Cruz Women's Tennis won 9-0 over William Jessup. 

The Banana Slugs quickly won all three double matches. Sweden Van Houten and Chloe Wu had an 8-0 shutout at Number 2, Number 1 pair Sara Beckman and Natalie Sprenger had an 8-1 victory, and Daniela Christian Jolie Seemayer had an amazing doubles match with an 8-4 win. 

The Banana Slugs won all six singles matches with Meghana Damojipurapu finishing the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win. 

This was the last home game for seniors Tanner Rowland and Sarah Crismon. "I'm proud of everyone and their commitment to the team. I'm so happy to see everyone play for the last time," said Crismon after.

The Banana Slugs secured their 12th win of the season and have two weeks off before the Coast-To-Coast championships in Virginia.
