Women's basketball player Amanda Inserra was named First Team Academic All District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
She was voted on by Sports Information Directors from Division III schools west of the Mississippi River. The junior from Saratoga majors in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology.
"So proud of her!" said head coach Todd Kent. "Mandy works so hard in the classroom and on the court. This recognition is much deserved."
Inserra has started all 17 games this season and is third on the team in scoring. Currently she ranks 14th in the nation for three-point percentage. She is the first woman to be named Academic All District in coach Kent's tenure as head coach.

First-team Academic All-District honorees now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.
