SANTA CRUZ, CA -- UC Santa Cruz Men's Volleyball defeated New York University.  The Slugs won in three sets with the following scores:  25-16, 25-18, 25-16. 

Senior Outside Hitter Salvatore LaCavera III led the team with 18 kills (0.577 pct).  Freshman Middle Blocker Jorge Reyes added 6 kills (0.750 pct) to the team and totaled 2 blocks.  Sophomore Setter Blake Chadwick contributed 38 assists on the match.

This win brings their overall record to 10-5 (7-1 D-III, 5-1 CVC).

The Slugs celebrate their Senior Night against Grand Canyon University (D-I) on Monday, March 18 at 7:00 PM.
