SANTA CRUZ, CA -- UC Santa Cruz Men's Volleyball defeated Stevenson University.  The Slugs won in three sets with the following scores:  26-24, 25-20, 25-22.

Senior Outside Hitter Salvatore LaCavera III led the team with 16 kills (0.394 pct).  Freshman Middle Blocker Jorge Reyes added 8 kills (0.467 pct) to the team and totaled 3.5 blocks.  Senior Libero Mauro Salinas led the team with 21 digs.  Sophomore Setter Blake Chadwick contributed 44 assists on the match. 

This win brings their overall record to 9-4 (6-1 D-III, 5-1 CVC).

The Slugs finish out the weekend against NYU at 7:00 PM.
