HIGH SCHOOL: No. 1 singles position and Team MVP at Beckman High School in Orange County. All-League First Team, helped team to win the CIF-SS D2 Championship and reach the CIF-SS D1 Final.
Varsity Captain Senior year, Scholar-Athlete Award, Honor Roll each year in high school.
PERSONAL: Parents are Anuradha (mother), and Bharath (father). Sister is Ranjani.
Most Influential people in his life are parents and tennis coaches "since they provided me with the opportunity to chase my tennis and academic dreams."
Chose UC Santa Cruz because of "the opportunity to play college tennis for an in-state school with a strong computer science program, and scenic campus with lots of wildlife."
Off the court enjoys ping pong, watching movies, listening to music, tennis, and basketball, hiking, observing wildlife, and meeting with friends.
