UC Santa Cruz Success:
  • 2022-23:
    • College debut at the 2022 Slug Invite, swimming leadoff of 400 free relay that placed 6th and the butterfly portion of 200 medley relay that placed 6th.
    • Individually finished 10th in 50 back (29.50) and 16th in 50 fly (29.05). 
HIGH SCHOOL: Swam for Rio Vista High School. Two-time All-League MVP. Team MVP and Section Qualifier all four years. 
Top Ten Senior, Honor Roll and Academic All-League(swim, volleyball, basketball, & cross country) all four years. Swam for Terrapins swim club.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jamie and Alex Saldana. Four siblings-Sydney, Bella, Brooklynn, and Kylee. Says her mom is the most influential person in her life because "she was the first person in my family to go to college and has made a life for herself that she is proud of. I want to be just like her!"
Picked UCSC because "I fell in love with the swim team because of their social media presence then seeing the town and campus sealed the deal for me." Out of the pool she likes to read, hike, swim, and do art.
