SANTA CRUZ, Ca. – On Wednesday morning, the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2024-25 C2C Medal of Inspiration honorees with one
Caleb Lee from UCSC Men's Soccer selected as one of two honorees for the award. The conference's senior woman administrators select the recipients of the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Medal of Inspiration for the 2024-25 academic year. The C2C Medal of Inspiration is awarded to person(s) from the league who have persevered through extraordinary circumstances and whose determination, devotion, and passion are exemplary, revered among their peers, and worthy of special recognition.
Caleb Lee earned this honor by exemplifying great determination and courage to overcome a life-threatening illness that required heart surgery. Lee had to relearn basic mobility to return to the pitch and through dedication and tremendous work ethic, returned for the 2024 season. In his senior campaign, Lee appeared in 17 games this season with six starts and scored two goals and logged an assist for the Banana Slugs.
