Banana Slugs seeded third for C2C Championship

The UC Santa Cruz tennis teams both learned their paths to the Coast-To-Coast Conference title as the Conference released their seedings for the 2024 Championship in Virginia.
Both teams were seeded third and will open play in the semifinal round on Saturday, May 4th on the campus of Mary Washington. The Coast-To-Coast Conference determines the seedings based on the Massey Ratings system.Â
The women (12-5) will face two-seed and host Mary Washington at 11:00 am Pacific time. The men (10-9) will take on second-seeded Christopher Newport at 7:00 am Pacific. It is a rematch of a neutral-site match on March 3rd where the Banana Slugs defeated the Captains 5-4.
Saturday's semifinal winners will advance to Sunday's final.
