UCSC Women's Soccer Advanced Player Development (APD) Summer Residential Camps

UCSC Women's Soccer Advanced Player Development (APD) Summer Residential Camps

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The Advanced Player Development (APD) Camp is a four-day intensive camp designed for the elite-level player who is motivated to play at the college level. This camp allows players the opportunity to spend four days inside of the UC Santa Cruz Women's Soccer Program and learn about what it takes to play at the college level, learning from UCSC Women's Soccer coaching staff and our current UCSC student athletes.

Not only will this camp allow players to showcase themselves in front of our staff, it will also give players a taste of what college soccer is all about on one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Players will train using the same methods and facilities as the UC Santa Cruz Women's Soccer Program, as well as get a chance to interact with many members of the team. Players staying overnight for camp will be housed in the dorms on campus at UCSC and will also have all meals provided for in the dining halls.

Our June & August residential camps are designed to act as a training ground for players interested in potentially playing at UCSC. These summer camps are a great way for our incoming class and players in general to prep and get fit for tryouts in fall when double days officially begin! Sessions follow a double day pattern with warm-ups, fitness and agility, small-sided sessions and larger 11v11 games. We also offer a Q&A session for parents and players with our staff and current student-athletes on opening day after camp check-in, so players and their families can learn more in general about playing at the college level and what it requires.
